Please join the Black Mountain Detachment of the Marine Corps League in celebrating the 245th birthday of the United States Marine Corps and the 101st anniversary of Veterans' Day, by accepting our new, fun and innovative physical challenge. Breaking from our traditional 5K runs of past years, the Marine Corps League of Henderson will conduct a "poker" run/walk of 5-7 kilometers which will offer participants the chance of winning gift cards. On Saturday, October 24th, 2020, we conduct our event at beautiful Sunset Park in Las Vegas. Participants will run along the trail system leading through natural dunes to find stations and retrieve cards. The best poker hands win! In addition, we will have sponsor displays, a Marine Corps Static equipment display, complimentary refreshments and our traditional cutting of the Marine Corps Birthday Cake.
