With extremely favorable weather for April, this year's Poker Run/Walk allowed competitors to chart their own courses as they navigated the length and breadth of Sunset Park. Given a map annotated only with their first station, participants navigated to the site and picked up a map with the other four stations. Participants took between 30 and 60 minutes to negotiate the five points. The course presented a mental and physical challenge. Desert Pines Team #5 took the trophy amongst the nine JROTC teams that participated from Desert Pines and Clark High Schools. Desert Pines also provided a color guard to commence our ceremony and briefing. We are greatly appreciative of our many vendors and our co-sponsor - Findlay Honda - for their support for this year's event.
